UKONS Annual Conference 2010

Following the enormous success of their combined annual conference in 2009, the UK Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS) and the British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA) are joining forces again in 2010. Last year’s delegates were surprised and delighted to find out how much oncology nurses and oncology pharmacists could learn from each other’s experiences in cancer care, and how they could work together to improve the services delivered to patients. This year, Manchester will be the setting and, as in 2009, each organisation will have its own sessions in addition to a full day of joint UKONS and BOPA presentations. The proceedings will begin on Thursday 14 October with the opening of the UKONS conference, followed by the joint BOPA and UKONS day on Friday 15 October, then the BOPA event will continue on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 October
