ISNCC is proud to announce the launch of our new webinar program Introduction What is a webinar? A webinar is a form of web conferencing where participants view presentation slides online and receive audio via phone line from live presenters. Participants and speakers only require internet and phone access; therefore, webinars provide informative, timely and cost-effective international education. Multiple participants at one institution can benefit from the same webinar by using a speakerphone and communal monitor/projector. The application typically lasts 1 hour and can consist of more than one speaker. Questions from the audience are usually addressed at the end of the presentations thus providing a fully interactive learning medium. Reduced webinar rates are offered to ISNCC members and low resource countries. Objectives The major objective of the new ISNCC webinar program is to offer ISNCC members and non-members the opportunity to engage in nursing educational opportunities at a reasonable cost and in the convenience of their own office or home.
